About The Torture Room
4 years into my massage career, feeling lost in trying to be like everyone else. Life got hard, and even found myself homeless for a few months. This failed journey, This part of my life, at the bottom, is exactly how I manifested the TortureRoom.
June of 2019 I went live with the TortureRoom. Showing people a new way of healing. Using aggressive Massage treatments (GuaSha) really made waves in the industry. Within 1 year, I out grew the small town I came from and gradually started working in greater cities. After 2 years I was recognized in Las Vegas, where the TortureRoom is now.
I have mastered and perfect my craft of the TortureRoom, creating what is now the “TortureRoomTheory.” Using many techniques and modalities I have learned how to master the Power of Touch and show a remarkable way of healing. I have been globally recognized by many people looking for new possibilities of a better way of life. Also captivating the attention of other massage therapist from all over the world, showing how massage, can change a persons reality.

Massage therapists have to understand all levels of stress a person holds. Sometimes just letting a client speak freely and openly to let go of mental stress that is being held in the body. As we sit and listen, understand, and empathize. This will improve their session of receiving an amazing relaxation massage allowing their body to flow with better serotonin, dopamine, and endorphins.

In the TortureRoom I can usually work with people while they wear sports clothing. Typically, there are enough sheets so the therapist can exit the room so the client can undress to their comfort level and lay on the table in between the sheets.
A deep tissue massage uses heat (friction) and pressure to penetrate through different levels of muscle tissue to improve blood flow, increase lymphatic flow and alleviate tension. Consider this treatment when pains are chronic, range of motion is limited and when the body is not responding to regular destress methods you are commonly using.
At times this treatment can or will be painful but doesn’t always have to be. All this depends on the symptoms, condition and how long the tension/pain has been an issue.
A Swedish massage is commonly used for relaxation and will also include some stretching with in the treatment. Deep tissue massage will mostly handle chronic pain or tension.

Miguel Guajardo
My names, Miguel Guajardo, I’ve grown up in the great state of Texas and Washington state. After graduating high school I joined the military (Army). Completing my first tour, I moved on, working in Law Enforcement for an amazing 12 years. Still not knowing where my purpose should really be. I was turned into the field of Massage Therapy.
Not knowing how great of an impact this career can be. I started my journey in 2015. Massage captivated me so much. A 1yr program I was able to complete in 6 months. I found myself having great fulfilments in helping others. I have now been a Massage Therapist for 10 years, learning many modalities and techniques. Evolving my approach to massage that has captured the attentions from people of all demographics from all over the globe.
